- Who are you & what is your role at Tayco?
My name is Tiana Smith, and I’m the Showroom and Guest Experience Manager here at Tayco. - What’s a typical day like for you?
A typical day consists of reviewing scheduled showroom visits, upcoming installations, and working with the Marketing Team to restock literature and product. I also maintain our showroom and create meaningful guest experiences for our Sales Team and Customers, working across multiple departments to ensure everything runs smoothly. - What has been a highlight moment in your role so far?
Recently receiving a promotion from Showroom Coordinator to Showroom and Guest Experience Manager has been a highlight. It’s been a great opportunity to grow with Tayco. - What do you enjoy most about working with your Team?
I enjoy the collaboration. Bringing ideas together for showroom updates and finding new ways to make products impactful has been really exciting. - What’s something people might not expect about you?
I grew up with a lot of pets, including a sugar glider. - Outside of work, what keeps you inspired or energized?
Having something to look forward to keeps me motivated. I stay inspired through my art and by learning new skills like photography, cyanotype printing, and swimming. - If your life lately had a theme song, what would it be?

Computer coding and becoming fluent in multiple languages. - What motivates you, both professionally and personally?
I’m naturally curious and love exploring new ideas. Every challenge teaches me something valuable and keeps me motivated. - What is one thing you’ve learned at Tayco that has stuck with you?
One of the biggest takeaways for me is how Tayco balances trend forecasting with a deep understanding of Customer needs. It’s not just about what’s new, it’s about what works for our Clients and their businesses. That ability to adapt and prioritize the Customer so effortlessly is something that’s really stuck with me.
