Toll Group

The Challenge

Toll Group, a global logistics, supply chain and transportation company, was looking to update their existing office space in Atlanta, Georgia. The project involved renovating an existing space and incorporating new furniture for their office redesign and tenant improvement initiative. The overall objective was to enhance the functionality of their workstations and create a more dynamic workspace. While meeting these objectives, the Client also aimed to incorporate a modern aesthetic that afforded a professional appearance for Customers.

The Solution

In order to update the existing office space in Atlanta and create a modern and functional workspace, Toll Group trusted Tayco’s Commercial Space Design Team and Tayco Dealer Partner, Verkpleys. The Team planned the space with 32 Switch workstations, five private offices, one conference room, one meeting room, and one breakroom. Each area was designed to cater to the specific requirements of each departmental function, including executive offices, call centers, and collaborative work areas.

The open floor plan was strategically planned with 32 Switch workstations with Silver metal accents, Stone-Ballo panel fabric, along with laminate gallery panels in Mojave laminate. These stations allowed for the perfect amount of collaboration and privacy for the call centers. For additional storage, stations were outfitted with a dual-toned credenza combo in White laminate for the body and Mojave laminate for the hutch face. Each credenza included seat cushions in Nightfall-Ballo panel fabric for impromptu meetings. The layouts and finishes chosen complemented each other while providing each worker with the perfect amount of storage space they require for their daily tasks.

The executive settings were outfitted with five Metro Professional private offices in harmonious White laminate and Silver paint colour to match the overall style chosen for the open office. To further enhance organization and tidiness in the space, one under-desk pedestal and one hutch in White laminate for the face and Mojave laminate for the body were added, providing extra storage space.

In order to foster an environment of collaboration and productivity, the Team strategically outfitted the conference room with a Norris straight boardroom table, measuring 156”WX48”D, in a sleek Mojave laminate finish with white accents. For more casual meetings, the meeting room was furnished with a Halifax A leg table measuring 72”WX30”D, finished in a complementary Mojave laminate and Silver paint colour. Additionally, the breakroom was fitted with two Hanna X-base casual tables with square table tops, each measuring 36”WX36”D, finished in a bold Mojave and Black paint colour combination.

Meanwhile, the lunchroom features a sophisticated Hanna round table, measuring 36” in diameter, finished in a neutral White laminate with a sleek Silver tubular base.

The Result

In conclusion, Verkpleys and Tayco’s Teams successfully delivered a visually stunning and highly functional workspace for Toll Group, meeting all their specific needs. The client was impressed with the attention to detail and the Team’s willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. Overall, Verkpleys and Tayco have demonstrated their expertise in commercial design and their ability to create tailored solutions for their clients.
